Ok, it’s not secret. We had a baby and he messed up our lives in a wonderful way. Instead of filling our schedules with lots of spring weddings and engagement sessions, we spent our time at the hospital, at home nursing, and washing the laundry. Then we wash the laundry some more. And just as all of the baby blankets, onesies, and burp cloths are clean and put away, our handsome young North decorates them once again. As much as we love our baby North, Brett keeps saying that he can’t wait until he is old enough to take Teryx (our Border Collie / Australian Shepard mix doggie) out by himself. As for me, I love my cuddle time with North, but I won’t complain when he starts eating solid food! We love you North!
Just when we thought that we had officially become social recluses (we miss you friends!) and blog posting failures, our first engagement shoot of the season finally arrived!
Let me start by saying WE LOVE Brian and Teresa! This couple has style and are two of the sweetest people we’ve met in a long time. (Yes we say that about sooo many of our wonderful clients – but it’s simply the truth!) Not only are they SWEET (did I already mention that), they are CREATIVE (umm, does a masters degree in art mean anything??), stylish (who wouldn’t want a hairstylist like Teresa?), ROMANTIC (packing a picnic complete with wine, guitar, and classic novels), but they are also plain old good looking! All that to say, we are soooo looking forward to shooting their wedding later this year.
Brian and Teresa – thanks for driving down to San Diego to spend some time with us! We can’t wait to see you again at your wedding in Long Beach!
On a booking note – the 2011 wedding inquiries are rolling in and we’re excited to meet our clients for next year. The earlier we meet and book your weddings, the better friends we’ll become!
