Happy Friday everyone! Today it is with great joy I present you with pictures of my sister (me being Emily) and her fiance. They are getting married next March here in California and we got to take their engagement photos while they were here visiting this past March. Meredith has lived in France since her study abroad trip to France turned into a new home for her. Now how romantic is it to go visit France and fall in love with a real frenchmen like Jerome? Sounds like a hollywood movie right?! I think their story is quite cute – My sister was a waitress and Jerome would eat at the restaurant where she worked nearly every day for lunch. Well, of course Jerome couldn’t help but notice Meredith – and probably the reason he kept eating there! Lets just say the Meredith had Jerome at “bonjour” Haha! Well, we had a blast with this shoot, I mean, It’s my baby sister! She is the last of us to marry and having her here planning her wedding made me realize that she is all grown up. It was so special for us to get to take their engagement photos and can’t wait for their wedding where I will be a bridesmaid and Brett will photograph solo (ok, I’m sure I’ll pick up the camera a time or two!). Enjoy . . or should I say. . .Jouir!

As many of you know, Brett is a bit of an outdoor enthusiast. So when we get a couple that wants their engagement photos taken in the rustic outdoors, we get a little excited around here. Ross and Brittanie were one of those couples and Brett had a perfect new location to take them to that he had found recently while mountain biking. The location was epic and a storm was brewing which made for a great moody ambiance. And then there was Ross and Brittanie who killed it with the photogenic goodness. They ran through fields, jumped over fences, relaxed on the moist ground floor, tried to avoid odd beetles and played with some awesome driftwood (ok, there was no water around, but we’re still calling it driftwood). Needless to say -we had a great time with them playing around in the great outdoors. It was also a fun little reunion for us and Brittanie as she was a bridesmaid in one of our fabulous weddings a couple years back. Ross and Brittanie – thanks for being awesome – we had a blast with you and are so excited for your wedding this fall!
